As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Flex Well Wellness Clinic, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Evaluating and treating patients recovering from orthopedic injuries, diseases, or surgeries in a supportive outpatient office environment.
• Establishing therapeutic treatment plans that utilize a variety of methods, including exercises, stretching maneuvers, hands-on techniques, and modern equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Tracking patient progress meticulously and documenting treatments, responses, and outcomes to improve clinical outcomes.
• Adjusting treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and collaborating with the healthcare team to redefine therapeutic goals.
• Appropriately recommending and fitting patients for assistive devices to aid in their recovery and independence.
• Providing comprehensive training to patients, caregivers, and family members on the use of therapeutic modalities and self-management strategies.
• Staying current with industry practices and advancements in physical therapy through continuous education and participating in relevant professional networks.

Your focus will be on a diverse demographic, ranging from children to older adults who are facing challenges related to orthopedic conditions. This may include post-operative rehabilitation, injury recovery, chronic pain management, and preventative care. Your role is critical in helping patients regain their independence and improve their overall physical health.

To be successful in this position, you should possess:

• A Doctorate's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient word processing and computer skills for documenting patient care and accessing medical records.
• A flexible and adaptable approach to therapy, enabling you to meet the unique needs of each patient.

While prior work experience is not required, we encourage recent graduates with a passion for orthopedic rehabilitation to apply. Hands-on clinical training and internships in relevant settings will be advantageous.
