Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing their history, physical condition, and functional capabilities to create tailored rehabilitation plans.
  • Implement a variety of treatment modalities, such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities like ultrasound or electrical stimulation, depending on the patient's needs.
  • Develop and modify treatment protocols in close coordination with other healthcare providers, ensuring progress is made toward rehabilitation goals.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for all patient encounters, encompassing evaluations, treatment interventions, and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
  • Adhere to productivity metrics and maintain a punctual schedule while actively participating in both internal training and community outreach initiatives.
  • Engage in continuing education opportunities to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy and fulfill a role as a clinical instructor as needed.
  • Enhance patient experience by proactively addressing any barriers to care, fostering an inclusive environment that prioritizes accessibility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse patient population primarily includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, chronic pain conditions, and post-traumatic rehabilitation. You will work closely with patients of all ages, providing compassionate care that is sensitive to their unique physical and emotional needs.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure for Maryland relevant to the practice of Physical Therapy.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams, fostering positive interactions with patients and colleagues alike.
Preferred Experience
  • While prior professional experience in orthopedic settings is advantageous, we welcome new graduates eager to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
