About This Role

We are seeking to hire a fun and caring After School Instructor in Richmond, VA. The After School Instructor will lead groups of elementary school students during after-school hours. The instructor will assist with homework, lead team building and STEM activities.


What You'll Do

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and submit weekly lesson plans and STEM activities
  • Lead daily after-school activities
  • Assist students with homework and enrichment activities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive classroom environment
  • Establish and maintain clear expectations and supportive behavior guidance.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Experience working with children or in a school setting
  • Pass background checks and health screenings
  • CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to train and obtain certification
  • Dependable Transportation
