Job description

CT / X-ray Tech Full Time / Competitive Pay CT / X-ray Tech Qualifications
  • Two years post-high school education.
  • Current radiologic licensure from the State of Ohio Department of Health and ARRT registered required.
  • CT Technologist certification is requested within 2 years and required at 3 years.
  • BLS certification required.

CT / X-ray Tech job description
  • Operates the CT scanner to capture diagnostic images, following the medical imaging guidelines set by ARRT and ASRT, and in accordance with Ohio Department of Health regulations.
  • Ensures technical accuracy of each scan.
  • Proficient in transmitting images to PACS and uploading relevant documents.
  • Participates in rotating CT on-call shifts.
  • Monitors supply expiration dates and discards expired items.
  • Attends at least 75% of department meetings.
  • Collaborates with the Outpatient Scheduling Department to schedule patients.
  • Maintains compliance with RQI standards.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required.
