Job description

Nalley Consulting is seeking full-time Systems Administrator in metro Washington, D.C.

Position: Systems Administrator
LCAT: Senior
Location: DIA HQ, Washington, D.C.
Required clearance and polygraph: TS/SCI with willingness to take CI poly. Candidates with polygraph conducted within the past seven years will be highly prioritized.
Required experience and education: Master's degree and 8+ years of experience OR bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience
Description: Position supports sustainment of two critical operating systems on JWICs. Ideal candidate will have some Oracle experience to assist in legacy applications.
Requirements

  • Mandatory: Security+ certification
  • Highly Desired: Proficient cloud computing experience, proficient digital security experience, SQL

Required skills

  • Principal technologies: Java, Java Persistence API (JPA), Java Web Services (JAX-RS), Java Cryptography Extension (JCE), Hibernate, Spring, JavaScript, Apache Ant, Apache HTTPD, and Apache Tomcat
  • Databases: Apache Solr, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and OracleDB
  • Platforms: Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, and 9, with an understanding of FIPS mode, SELinux, firewall daemon (firewalld), file access policy daemon (fapolicyd), and basic system administration 
  • Must be able to obtain a privileged user access account (PUA).
