Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art Rehabilitation Center in Sayreville, New Jersey. Our facility is equipped with modern resources and tools to support your practice while fostering an engaging work environment. You will join a team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about improving patient outcomes and providing exceptional care. With a weekly schedule of 40 hours, you may also have variable weekend shifts depending on patient needs.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Flex Staff, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive examinations and evaluations to assess patient needs and devise individualized treatment plans.
• Providing consultation to healthcare providers, ensuring seamless continuity of care for patients.
• Interacting respectfully with patients from diverse backgrounds, adhering to our established customer service standards.
• Performing evaluations and developing as well as implementing treatment plans, all while documenting patient progress accurately.
• Collaborating with an interdisciplinary treatment team, including physicians and support staff, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Engaging in leadership activities, such as community outreach programs and staff training, to promote healthcare initiatives.
• Participating in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and continuing education programs.
• Supervising assigned support staff, ensuring effective use of department resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse range of patients who are experiencing orthopedic and rehabilitation challenges. From post-surgical recovery to injury rehabilitation, your role will be pivotal in helping each patient regain their mobility and independence. You will not only address physical rehabilitation needs but also provide emotional support and education to patients and their families throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid State License in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with patients and medical teams.
• Proficient in word processing and electronic health record systems.
• A demonstrated ability to interact meaningfully with patients of all ages and cultures.

Preferred Experience

We require a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a physical therapy setting. Experience in a rehabilitation center or acute care facility is strongly preferred, as it equips you with the skills necessary to handle complex cases and work well in a collaborative environment.

Compensation and Benefits

At Flex Staff Physical Therapy, we believe in rewarding our team members for their hard work and dedication. The salary range for this position is between USD 100,000 and USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
