Work Environment

Our Rehabilitation Center is designed with the patient experience in mind, creating a modern and healing atmosphere that promotes recovery and rehabilitation. Working hours are Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 8 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• The Physical Therapist will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care by managing the rehabilitation process for an assigned caseload. This involves active collaboration with physicians and a dedicated patient care team.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments to create and implement individualized care plans that promote goal achievement, ensure patient engagement, and enhance the overall patient experience.
• Provide hands-on therapy to patients, facilitating their recovery through tailored exercise plans and therapeutic techniques within legally established boundaries and professional ethics.
• Evaluate and monitor the therapeutic, rehabilitative, and functional status of patients, playing a crucial role in developing holistic care plans that encompass all aspects of their rehabilitation needs.
• Deliver skilled therapeutic interventions—whether within the rehabilitation center or at the patient's home—to ensure continuity of care as outlined in the physician's prescribed plan.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic strategies, exercises, and the use of rehabilitation devices to enhance the treatment effects beyond clinical settings.
• Prioritize and manage caseloads efficiently, determining daily staffing requirements while coordinating team assignments and patient hand-offs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of patients, from children recovering from orthopedic surgeries to adults working to regain mobility and function following injuries or surgeries. Your primary focus will be to identify each patient's unique needs and provide customized treatment plans that promote their functional independence and overall well-being.

Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a valid state license as a Physical Therapist.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification will need to be obtained within the first 30 days of employment.
• This position is open to all experience levels; no prior experience is necessary, making it an excellent opportunity for recent graduates.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a rehabilitation setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems can enhance your effectiveness in the role.
