Flex Schedule Advent Health Rn information

How does the flexible scheduling model work for RNs at AdventHealth, and what should I expect regarding shift assignments?

At AdventHealth, RNs on a flex schedule typically have the autonomy to select shifts that fit their personal needs, often through a centralized scheduling system or app. While this offers greater work-life balance, it may mean covering a mix of day, night, or weekend shifts depending on staffing needs. Flex schedule RNs are expected to be adaptable, as their assignment may change based on patient census or unit requirements. Collaboration with the staffing coordinator and clear communication with the nursing team are essential to ensure adequate coverage and continuity of care.

What are Flex Schedule Advent Health RNs?

Flex Schedule Advent Health RNs are registered nurses at AdventHealth who work flexible schedules, rather than traditional full-time or part-time shifts. These nurses often have the ability to choose their shifts, allowing them to better balance work and personal commitments. Flex Schedule RNs may work in various departments and are essential for filling staffing needs during peak times or staff shortages. This role offers both the benefits of working in a hospital setting and the flexibility of non-traditional hours.
