Bright Tomorrows Child Advocacy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities- Manage a caseload of clients by establishing rapport and fostering trusting therapeutic relationships while adhering to professional ethics and boundaries.
- Conduct regular check-ins with clients to review their progress, assess stability, schedule upcoming appointments, and facilitate discharges when appropriate.
- Design, implement, and continuously monitor person-centered treatment plans, incorporating the clients' goals and feedback into their therapy.
- Maintain precise and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans for each client, using electronic health record systems.
- Perform thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients’ needs and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.
- Conduct individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to the unique needs of each client.
- Engage in regular individual supervision to discuss cases, share insights, and continuously enhance clinical skills.
- Collaborate actively with other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to client care and to facilitate referrals as needed.
- Exhibit a growth mindset by seeking ongoing professional development and remaining open to feedback for improvement.
The clients you will serve include a diverse range of individuals—ranging from children to adults—seeking mental health support due to various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications- A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is a mandatory requirement.
- Current, unrestricted, and active Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials.

- Strong proficiency in using computers and electronic health record systems for documentation and client management.
- Demonstrated experience delivering direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families, with familiarity in various therapeutic techniques.
- Proficient in conducting intake assessments for new clients to inform treatment plans.
While the required qualifications are paramount, candidates with additional certifications in specialized therapeutic modalities, experience working with children and families, or proficiency in crisis intervention techniques will be prioritized.
