Key Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions including individual and group psychotherapy to patients experiencing mental health conditions associated with substance use, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and social functioning, ensuring a thorough understanding of each patient’s needs.
• Create and implement tailored treatment plans that utilize evidence-based methodologies while respecting cultural competency.
• Engage in collaborative care with psychiatrists and other health professionals, ensuring integrated support frameworks for patients navigating multiple dimensions of health.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously and modify treatment strategies based on ongoing assessments and feedback, anchoring interventions to patient response and evolving needs.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, recovery processes, treatment options, and available community resources, empowering them to participate actively in care.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, ensuring confidentiality and informed consent in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your expertise will serve a diverse range of patients, primarily those in initial recovery stages from addiction and facing concurrent mental health challenges. You will be instrumental in creating individualized plans that address both the psychological and practical aspects of recovery, fostering resilience and stability.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from a recognized and accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience providing psychotherapy to patients with mental health concerns, ideally within addiction rehabilitation settings.
• Demonstrated proficiency in communication and interpersonal skills for building trust with patients and collaborating effectively with healthcare teams.
• Robust clinical abilities, including skilled assessment and strategic treatment plan development.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and telehealth platforms for effective patient management and documentation.
• Comprehensive knowledge of mental health conditions and treatments, along with a sensitivity to the barriers faced by individuals in recovery.
• A strong commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to best-practice ethical standards.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with culturally and socio-economically diverse populations, enhancing the inclusivity of care provided.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in addiction treatment and mental health care.
• Prior experience in a detox or inpatient treatment environment is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 90,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
