Work Environment

This LCSW position is uniquely designed to operate in a remote capacity, allowing flexibility and a work-life balance while engaging directly with school-aged clients. While the majority of the work will be conducted from a home office, you may occasionally participate in virtual meetings, and collaborate with educators and other mental health professionals to create comprehensive care plans. As part of a supportive team culture, you will have access to regular supervision and opportunities for peer collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize your educational background and clinical training to conduct thorough psychosocial evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for students.
• Engage with students and their families to foster a supportive therapeutic relationship aimed at improving mental health outcomes.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as solution-focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and behavioral activation tailored to each student's unique situation.
• Continuously monitor and assess students' progress towards therapeutic goals and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with educators, school psychologists, and other mental health providers to ensure a holistic approach to student care.
• Support medication management by providing feedback on adherence, side effects, and treatment efficacy in conjunction with medical professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will engage with a diverse clientele, including students with ADHD, anxiety, trauma histories, and other mental health conditions. Your role will include not only addressing individual needs but also advocating for a supportive learning environment that promotes overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current, valid, and unrestricted license to practice independently in mental health as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Florida.
• A minimum of one year of experience working as an independently licensed therapist in a clinical setting.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working in educational environments or with children and adolescents will be advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote clinical practices is highly desirable. A strong background in conducting psychosocial assessments and treatment planning will also contribute to your success in this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, with earnings between USD 80,000 and 100,000 annually, complemented by a variety of attractive benefits.
