This role is integral to our mission of providing exceptional mental health services through telehealth platforms, allowing us to reach a wider range of clients in need of support. The ideal candidate will assess clients’ mental health needs, develop personalized treatment plans, and engage in ongoing therapy, contributing positively to their emotional and psychological well-being.

About the Organization

Allied Health Psychotherapy Center is a pioneering mental health practice located in Tucson, Arizona, focusing on evidence-based therapeutic practices and client-centered care. Our team of professionals is passionate about promoting mental health awareness and accessibility through innovative telehealth services. We strive to create a culture of inclusivity and respect, ensuring that every client feels heard, valued, and understood within our supportive environment.

Work Environment

The organization offers a fully remote work setting, prioritizing flexibility and work-life balance for our employees. Utilizing cutting-edge technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems, our counselors can provide high-quality care from the comfort of their homes while staying connected with clients through video consultations, phone calls, and secure messaging. This model not only allows for convenient scheduling but also enhances client engagement and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through initial consultations and ongoing therapy sessions, utilizing both standardized assessment tools and individualized discussions.
  • Design and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing specific mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.
  • Engage in regular therapy sessions, providing clients with the necessary coping strategies and therapeutic tools to manage their conditions effectively.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers when required, providing referrals to psychiatrists or other specialists as necessary for comprehensive treatment.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records in our EHR system, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding confidentiality.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse and dynamic clientele, each facing unique mental health challenges. Our patients include individuals grappling with various psychological issues, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and behavioral challenges. We are particularly focused on fostering a culturally competent approach to therapy, ensuring we respect and understand the varied backgrounds of each client.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid license in Arizona as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • A minimum of four years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • A solid understanding of a wide array of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment methodologies.
  • Proficiency in delivering both individual and group therapy, demonstrating cultural sensitivity in all therapeutic interactions.
Preferred Experience
  • Established crisis intervention skills, enabling effective management of acute psychiatric episodes.
  • Experience in a telehealth setting and familiarity with teletherapy tools and platforms.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated capability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment, coordinating effectively with other healthcare professionals.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, Allied Health Psychotherapy Center offers a comprehensive benefits package, including:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer-matching contributions to support your future financial security.
  • Generous paid time-off (PTO) policies and holiday pay, enabling a healthy work-life balance.
  • Access to continuing education opportunities to foster your professional growth and development.
  • Career advancement opportunities within our organization with clear pathways to leadership roles.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Allied Health Psychotherapy Center, we are committed to fostering the growth of our employees. We encourage ongoing education through workshops, seminars, and training sessions. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to the development of new programs and services that enhance client care.
