We are seeking Technical Marketing Manager to join our San Jose, CA team. The Technical Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that position Flex's technical capabilities-particularly in Power Electronics-to drive customer engagement and business growth. This role bridges engineering expertise with market insights to create compelling value propositions and technical content.

What a typical day looks like:

Market & Technology Positioning

  • Define and articulate Flex's technical differentiators in power conversion, energy storage, and electrification.

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new technologies and solutions, aligning with business unit objectives.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends and opportunities in Power Electronics.

Content Development & Enablement

  • Create technical marketing collateral such as white papers, case studies, presentations, and solution briefs.

  • Collaborate with engineering teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-focused messaging.

  • Support sales teams with technical insights and tools to enable strategic selling.

Customer & Industry Engagement

  • Represent Flex at industry events, conferences, and webinars as a subject matter expert in Power Electronics.

  • Engage with customers to understand technical requirements and position Flex's capabilities effectively.

  • Work closely with Regional VPs, Solution Architects, and Business Development teams to ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies.

The experience we are looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Marketing, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in technical marketing or product management within EMS/CMO or engineering environments, with strong exposure to Power Electronics.

  • Proven ability to create technical content and communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Knowledge of strategic marketing frameworks and tools.

  • Familiarity with power conversion technologies, energy storage systems, and electrification trends.

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of key financial metrics.
