Job Description:

Additional Information About the Position for Qualified Candidates 
• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus  
• 120 hours of front-loaded Paid Time Off  
• Up to $4,000 Relocation bonus  
• $1.00 Certification pay 
• $1.00 BSN pay  
• Career Ladder Bonus eligible up to $5,000 
Job Summary 
Flex nurse duties include assessing, planning, evaluating and implementing patient care in accordance with accepted standards of practice and organizational policy, administering medications and treatments, performing documentation and providing education to patients and families. Flex Nurses are assigned throughout the Branson Hospital and have varying schedules and unit assignments. The Flex Nurse maintains a wide array of medical care knowledge in order to care for a diverse group of patients. This position qualifies for a float pay differential.
Education:
  • Required: Graduate of an accredited nursing program

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

Experience:

  • Required: one (1) year critical care or emergency room experience OR two (2) years medical/surgical experience

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrate effective leadership abilities

  • Exhibits valuable time management skills

  • Strong critical thinking/problem solving skills

  • Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

  • Required: RN license active in the state of Missouri 

  • Required: BLS must be obtained within 90 days

  • Required: ACLS within a year of hire
