As a Service Engineer II within Managed MultiTenant team, you will help administer and govern enterprise services spanning Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Copilot, and related AI-powered solutions across Microsoft's multitenant environment. You will work at the intersection of platform operations, governance, automation, and service engineering to ensure employees have secure, reliable, and cost-effective access to the business applications and productivity tools they use every day.
You will contribute to platform administration, entitlement management, automation, operational excellence, and service governance while partnering with engineering, security, compliance, and business stakeholders. This opportunity will allow you to develop deep expertise across Microsoft's business applications, productivity, and AI ecosystems; build skills in automation, platform governance, and enterprise service operations; and gain hands-on experience operating some of the largest and most complex cloud environments in the world.

Responsibilities
  • You will administer and govern platform access, licensing, entitlements, and service configurations across Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Copilot, and related enterprise services.
  • You will support lifecycle management and provisioning processes, including role-based access, group-based assignments, governance controls, and employee onboarding, mobility, and offboarding scenarios.
  • You will monitor platform utilization, service health, licensing consumption, and operational metrics to identify optimization opportunities and improve efficiency, compliance, and cost effectiveness.
  • You will partner with Software Engineering teams to design, validate, and operate automation, AI-assisted workflows, and platform integrations that improve scalability, reduce operational overhead, and enhance administration across enterprise tenants.
  • You will collaborate with product engineering, platform teams, and business stakeholders to support new capabilities, platform rollouts, service changes, and operational readiness activities across business applications, productivity platforms, and AI-powered solutions.
  • You will participate in incident response, change management, compliance reviews, and operational governance processes to help maintain secure, reliable, and resilient platform services.
  • You will identify recurring operational challenges and contribute to automation, process improvements, and best practices that reduce manual effort and improve platform reliability.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related field AND 2+ years of experience in service engineering, systems administration, platform operations, software engineering, cloud administration, or related technical disciplines OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:
  • Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:
  • Experience administering Microsoft business applications, productivity platforms, or AI-powered services, including Power Platform, Dynamics 365, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Copilot, or related Microsoft workloads.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues, analyzing operational data, and driving resolution through collaboration with engineering and business stakeholders.
  • Experience using operational metrics, telemetry, reporting, or analytics to improve service quality, reliability, or operational efficiency.
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or platform integrations using technologies such as PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, REST APIs, Power Automate, Python, Copilot Studio, or similar tools.
  • Experience with enterprise governance, compliance, identity lifecycle management, entitlement management, licensing administration, access controls, or FinOps practices.
  • Experience operating services at enterprise scale, including incident management, service operations, change management, operational readiness, or reliability engineering practices.
  • Experience administering Microsoft cloud service entitlements and licensing constructs, including SKUs, service plans, add-ons, subscription governance, utilization reporting, commerce alignment, and cost optimization across enterprise-scale tenant environments.

Service Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $102,100 - $202,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,800 - $219,200 per year.
