Job description

Description

Troubleshoots, repairs and makes adjustments to electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems on production machinery and support equipment

Performs inspection of Injection Molding machines, Dryer Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, and support equipmentย 

Performs changeovers of injection tooling and robotic equipment per production demands

Performs preventive maintenance on Injection Molding Machines, Dryer Systems, Automated Guided Vehicles, and support equipmentย 

Troubleshoots electrical control and distribution systems to include 24vac, 120vac, 277vac and 480vac controller and monitor control systems

Some programming and troubleshooting of PLC'sย 

Orders and installs replacement parts for machines

Prepares reports documenting work performed

Coordinates with managers to schedule regular maintenance on machines

Fabricates and welds basic steel projects

Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

HS Diploma/GED Required. Three years of relevant experience (one employer) may be substituted

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods standing and walking

Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery

Must be able to visually inspect machines
