Job description

About us
Felicity puts AI in the hands of business teams.
Business teams today are forced to navigate messy, manual processes across fragmented systems - jumping between tools, copying data, and relying on tribal knowledge. Most AI solutions target developers, which means the people who understand these processes best don't have the right tools to improve them.
At Felicity, we're building a platform that lets business teams turn these processes into structured, reliable systems. With a no-code editor, users can capture complex business logic, connect to external systems, and create custom AI agents for their work. A robust workflow engine then runs those processes reliably at scale, with the control and consistency real operations require.
We started in healthcare, where these challenges are especially acute, and it remains a core part of our business. As we grow, we're expanding to support teams across sectors facing similar operational complexity.
We've raised $5.75M from top investors including Accel, XYZ, and Afore, and have built an exceptional team across engineering and go-to-market.
What you'll do
Forward Deployed Software Engineers (FDSEs) work directly with customers to understand their most important problems and build impactful solutions using the Felicity platform. As an FDSE, you'll be embedded on the ground with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their most critical operations, workflows, and decision-making processes. You'll partner closely with stakeholders to transform these processes into scalable, software-driven solutions.
The FDSE role is a unique combination of software engineering, product thinking, and customer-facing work. You'll collaborate with teams across a wide range of industries - whether in healthcare, finance, logistics, insurance, or beyond - helping organizations modernize complex systems and unlock new efficiencies. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with senior leaders, tackle high-stakes operational challenges, and drive meaningful impact at some of the world's largest and most important institutions.
Here are some examples of what you'll do each day:
  • Meet with customer teams, remotely or in person, to scope out their critical processes
  • Design a new process architecture with senior engineers
  • Use the Felicity platform to build complex automated workflows
  • Develop new integrations between Felicity and customer systems
  • Run trainings and create user-facing documentation
  • Create and run Felicity demos for sales calls

You might be a good fit if you have
  • 0-3 years of experience working in software engineering or customer-facing roles
  • Engineering background, preferably in fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, and Physics
  • Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar
  • Familiarity with LLMs and integrating AI models into complex workflows
  • A strong sense of ownership and willingness to do whatever it takes to deliver customer outcomes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

What we offer
  • ESOP
Every team member receives ESOP (equity ownership) in the company. We want everyone to share in the upside of what we're building together.
  • Health benefits
Felicity covers 100% of health insurance for employees and dependents, wherever you are.
  • Unlimited PTO
We trust you to manage your own time. You know what needs to be done and when.
  • Paid parental leave
We offer generous paid parental leave to support you during this important time with your growing family.
  • Free team lunch and dinner
