Job description

We're seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a permanent role in Chico, CA at a hospital where you will be responsible for following physician scanning instructions, administering contrast materials, and operating CT equipment.
Minimum Requirements:

  • 1 year experience preferred as a CT Technologist. One year of CT experience is desired; two years of diagnostic x-ray experience is desired.
  • Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology or equivalent training.
  • Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT).
  • Current ARRT certification or ability to obtain ARRT certification.
  • Approved CPR / BLS certification.
  • Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within six months of hire where applicable.
  • Experience performing CT exams, administering IV contrast, and general diagnostic radiographic exams.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, radiographic exposure principles, radiation protection, and quality assurance.

Preferred / Client-Specific Qualifications:
  • Current Radiographic contrast media and venipuncture certification.
  • Advanced CT certification such as CT specialty certification (CTSK) preferred.
  • Radiologic Technologist fluoroscopy permit issued by the State of California preferred.
  • Experience in trauma or acute care hospital settings preferred.

  • Sign-on bonus up to $10,000 available for new grads and experienced candidates.
  • Full-time position with variable 12-hour night shifts and a schedule averaging 72 hours per pay period.
