The pay range is $75,400.00 - $135,700.00

Responsibilities:

  • Participate throughout the end-to-end design process, from discovery and problem framing through ideation, prototyping, validation, design refinement, and implementation with engineering.
  • Partner closely with and learn from senior designers through collaboration, feedback, and mentorship.
  • Collaborate withcross-functional working teamsto deliverimpactful business outcomes
  • Leverage insights,dataand researchtoidentifyand pursue user-centric outcomes withinyour product space
  • Create design deliverables representative of the design process phase - such as journey maps, wireframes, user flows, UIdesignand prototypes
  • Contribute to qualitative and quantitative research efforts to better understand team member needs and evaluate design solutions.
  • Create accessible, intuitive, and thoughtful experiences through strong interaction design, information architecture, visual design, and prototyping.
  • Advance a culture of human-centered practice within UX, product, and engineering teams
  • Learn to navigate ambiguity by asking thoughtful questions, seeking feedback, and adapting designs asnew informationemerges.
  • Iterate on designs based on research findings, usability testing, stakeholder feedback, and product constraints.
  • Communicate designrationale clearlythrough presentations, documentation, and collaborative discussions.

About you:

  • Relevant product design experience through professional work, internships, or equivalent experience.
  • Foundational skills in UX and product design, as well as structuring and planning work, and owning the design process
  • Understanding ofnativemobileand/or webdesign patterns and platform conventions (Android experience is a plus).
  • Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can improve the experiences of team members and guests.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving, systems thinking, and collaboration skills.
  • Curiosity and a desire to understand the motivations, behaviors, and needs of users.
  • Have knowledge ofeffectively usingdata and insights toinform design decisionsand communicate your approach
  • Proficiencyin product design and prototyping tools (i.e., Figma)
  • You value outcomes and strive toward design that is welcoming, inspiring, and clear
  • Youunderstandhow design connects to, serves, and improves businessoutcomes
  • Demonstrate openness to feedback, continuous learning, and iterative improvement.

This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target's needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member's core rolewill need to beperformedboth onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned toandvirtually,depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
