What You Need:

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen**

• 6 months commercial tire experience required

• Valid driver’s license

• 3-yr Clean MVR with no DUIs


What You’ll Do:

• Commit to continual improvement, training & professional growth

• Perform commercial tire and wheel replacements and installations

• Dismount wheels using lug wrenches and other hand and power tools

• Repair, balance, rotate, mount, and replacement of commercial tires/wheels

• Services calls as scheduled by service manager

• Keeping service vehicle fully stocked

• Preventative maintenance of the service vehicle – daily inspection, oil changes, etc.

• Perform basic facility maintenance, shop clean up, and organization

• Look for opportunities to improve our products & services

• Other essential and non-essential duties as assigned by management

*Outside Service Technicians are compensated through a combination of hourly pay, daytime service commission, and night/weekend service commission. **Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
