Make an Impact as a Supervisor in our Residential Program!
The NewPath Child & Family Solutions Residential Program Supervisor provides regular and direct supervision, support and guidance to the staff working within the Residential Interventions Program. The Residential Program Supervisor models, teaches and demonstrates appropriate behavioral management, problem solving and coping techniques with youth.
Location: This position is with our Residential Interventions Program located at our Hamilton East Campus.
Hours: 2:30pm-10:30pm

What You Will Be Doing
  • Model, Teach and demonstrate appropriate behavioral management, problem solving and coping techniques with youth.
  • Deliver culturally competent program interventions.
  • Proactively manage unit coverage.
  • Coach and train shift leads for each shift.
  • Facilitate on-going new hire training ensuring all staff is properly trained.
  • Conduct performance evaluations of shift leads and behavior support specialist.
  • Collaborate with the Clinical team and relay plans to direct care staff each day.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with shift leads to monitor progress and areas of improvement.
  • Must be available to work on the unit to support staff.
  • Make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interest of the residential program.
  • Delegate responsibilities and duties for each shift.

What You Bring To The Table
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, Master's degree preferred.
  • Previous mental health therapy experience preferred.
  • Ability to lead, coach and engage a diverse workgroup.
  • Practical Knowledge of TCI and DCI techniques with ability to regularly apply knowledge and enforce within the workgroup.
  • Exceptional time management and problem solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care and DBT.
  • Must be TCI, DCI and CPR Certified.
  • Previous work experience in serving at risk youth or, working in a residential treatment program.
  • Thorough understanding and use of behavioral techniques and principles of Trauma Informed Care.
  • Must be 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license, and proof of current automobile insurance.
