Accounting Manager - Beck’s Admin Office - Princeton, IL

Beck’s is looking for an Accounting Manager to join our team and support the financial operations of our convenience store/fuel retail business along with car wash operations. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing fuel accounting processes, overseeing fixed assets, administering the fleet card program, and supporting store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly general ledger account reconciliations.
  • Process and reconcile daily fuel invoicing
  • Maintain receivable records and monitor outstanding balances.
  • Process and deposit customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Serve as custodian of the fixed asset reporting process, including tracking additions, disposals, and depreciation records.
  • Manage the company fleet card program, including transaction review and issue resolution.
  • Assist store managers with daily paperwork, cash reconciliation questions, and operational accounting support as needed.
  • Support month-end close and financial reporting activities.
  • Identify process improvements and maintain strong internal controls.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of accounting experience.
  • Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
