Pittsburgh Transportation Group

Pittsburgh Transportation Group is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Fleet Detailer to join our overnight operations team. In this important role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and presentation of our transportation fleet, helping ensure every vehicle is ready to provide a safe, comfortable, and professional experience for our passengers.

What You'll Do as a Fleet Detailer:Vehicle Cleaning & Detailing
  • Wash, clean, and detail buses and transportation vehicles according to company standards
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize vehicle interiors and exteriors
  • Polish surfaces and maintain the overall appearance of fleet vehicles
  • Perform minor cosmetic touch-ups to help keep vehicles looking their best
  • Ensure vehicles are service-ready for daily operations
Fleet Preparation & Maintenance Support
  • Install, remove, and maintain vehicle decals, wraps, and graphics as needed
  • Assist with vehicle preparation for inspections, special events, and operational assignments
  • Support fleet readiness by identifying appearance-related issues requiring attention
  • Assist with additional vehicle preparation tasks as assigned
Inventory & Facility Maintenance
  • Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and detailing products
  • Restock materials and notify management of supply needs
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas, including wash bays, parking lots, and service areas
  • Follow company safety procedures and operational guidelines
Qualifications of a Fleet Detailer:Education
  • High School Diploma or GED required
Experience
  • Previous experience in vehicle detailing, fleet washing, automotive appearance services, transportation operations, or a related field preferred
Licenses & Certifications
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Hazardous materials cleaning certification is a plus, but not required
Schedule & Pay

Schedule: Monday-FridayHours: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Pay Rate: $16.40 per hour
