Les enseignants sont placés sous la responsabilité du Service du Directeur des Activités Extrascolaires.

Description du programme

Le programme «Oui » » Learn French accueille les samedis matins un public adulte composé de parents, d’enseignants et de membres du personnel anglophones du Lycée Français de Chicago. Ce programme de service à la communauté est aussi ouvert aux habitants des quartiers de Ravenswood et de Lincoln Square. Les cours ont lieu en présentiel dans les locaux du Lycée Français entre 9h et 11 h.

Le programme «Oui » » Learn French Junior accueille les samedis entre 11 h 30 et 13h 00 un public de collégiens (11-14 ans) extérieurs au Lycée qui souhaitent commencer à apprendre le français ou supplémenter leur apprentissage du français en milieu scolaire. Les cours ont lieu en présentiel dans les locaux du Lycée Français.

Les enseignants intéressés peuvent postuler soit pour un seul de ces programmes, soit pour les deux.

Description du poste et rémunération

Nous recherchons un(e) professeur(e) de FLE contractuel(le) disponible à partir de septembre 2026

Les missions d'enseignement comprennent la préparation des cours, le face à face, l'évaluation, le suivi administratif de la classe (présences, etc.) ainsi que la participation à une réunion mensuelle de coordination.

Chaque enseignant est responsable d’un seul niveau par trimestre, et reçoit une somme forfaitaire de 125 USD par cours (adultes et/ou collégiens), soit un total de 250 USD par matinée en cas d'embauche pour les deux publics.

Responsabilités et fonctions

  • Préparer et enseigner des leçons pour des étudiants de niveau Grand débutant, A1, A2, B1 ou B2 (pas plus de deux niveaux différents par an et par enseignant).
  • Maintenir un environnement de classe positif et motivant
  • Etre capable de s’adapter aux niveaux de français des élèves
  • Suivre les progrès des étudiants, les évaluer et leur apporter un retour constructif
  • Collaborer avec les collègues pour assurer une transition positive parmi les niveaux
  • Aider à organiser des événements culturels pour les étudiants
  • Participer aux réunions occasionnelles du département
  • Communiquer toutes informations nécessaires sur le programme aux étudiants

Qualifications

  • Locuteur natif/locutrice native
  • License ou l'équivalent d'une license
  • Expérience dans l’enseignement du français aux adultes et/ou collégiens, de préférence au moins 2 ans
  • Etre autonome, organisé, patient et enthousiaste est indispensable
  • Capacité de communiquer de manière efficace à l'écrit et à l’oral en français, et idéalement en anglais
  • Maîtrise des outils technologiques disponibles en classe
