Job Summary:
As a Foreman, you are responsible for your crew's production, safety, and quality of work, while also planning day-to-day operations. You will supervise and direct the field crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. You will work alongside your crew each day to install commercial roofing systems, primarily single-ply roofing (TPO, PVC, etc.). Candidates for this role must be proficient in commercial roofing applications and possess the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this position.

A Day in the Life
  • Install commercial roofing systems, including fully-adhered and mechanically fastened single-ply membranes (TPO, EPDM, PVC, etc.)
  • Complete and delegate day-to-day activities
  • Successfully train and provide support to the team
  • Maintain quality installation of all assigned projects
  • Complete required documentation, PILL, inspection sheets, safety trainings, crew's time sheets, etc.
  • Meet production goals within a given deadline
  • Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project
  • Follow and enforce safety standards

What we Are Seeking- Qualifications
  • 4+ years' experience installing commercial flat-roofing systems (TPO, PVC, EPDM, and others)
  • Has held a Foreman or similar supervisor position in the roofing trade
  • Proficient with the installation of all roofing components and detail work (pipe boots, taper insulation, patching)
  • Can communicate successfully with general contractors and management- verbal and written
  • Able to train and mentor new employees
  • Ability to read and interpret Blueprints
  • Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control,
  • Can complete required paperwork, reports, and is comfortable with technology- iPads/apps
  • Has a valid driver license
  • Can pass a background check and meet job site requirements
