Each of the three flagship stores are family owned and offer the full assortment of Coton Colors products along with a selection of curated items Laura and her family love and use in their own home. The collection of special gifts, home decor, serveware and tabletop along with the interactive and inspirational displays offer a unique shopping experience to discerning hostesses, entertainers and gift givers.

Job Description

JOB OVERVIEW: Retail Store Associates are responsible for selling products in the Coton Colors Flagship Store. Associates will support and maintain the integrity of Coton Colors through exceptional customer service, maximizing sales and assisting in store operations needs.

JOB FUNCTIONS include but not limited to:

  • Engage the customer through product awareness and selling
  • Understand the Coton Colors brand and be able to articulate to customers
  • Provide exemplary customer service in the store, on the phone or through social media contact
  • Drive store results through add on selling and conversation that meet the customer's wants and needs
  • Help to maintain a clean, organized and inviting environment for the customer
  • Maintain an organized stock area
  • Accurately process transactions in a professional manner utilizing the POS system
  • Comply with all established company policies and procedures
  • Help execute and participate in all in-store events
  • Assist manager with keeping visual displays current and stocked
Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • High school graduate
  • Prior retail experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the store
  • Experience with a POS system a plus
  • Ability to withstand constant walking and standing; frequent bending stooping and reaching
  • Ability to move about in a store including climbing ladders and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds
