Skillforce is seeking Certified Flaggers for an ongoing project in Chantilly, VA. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years experience and a valid Flagger certification.

PAY SCHEDULE:

PAY: $20-21 per hour

SCHEDULE: 40 hours guaranteed, Monday-Friday w/ 6AM start time.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a flagger on a construction site.
  • Must hold or be able to acquire a valid flagger certification card (such as ATSSA or state-approved program).
  • Ability to communicate effectively and clearly with operators and personnel on site.
  • Ability to stand for long hours outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation to and from work site.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direct Traffic: Guide drivers safely around active construction areas using a stop/slow paddle or hand signals
  • Manage safety gear: Place and remove warning signs, cones, and barricades.
  • Communicate: Talk with other flaggers and heavy equipment operators using two-way radios.
  • Monitor Hazards: Watch for distracted or speeding drivers and alert crew of danger.
