What You’ll Do 🛠️
  • Traffic Control — Direct and manage traffic using stop/slow paddles, hand signals, and radios to keep work zones safe.
  • Setup & Removal — Place cones, signs, and barricades according to state standards and company procedures.
  • Site Monitoring — Watch road conditions and adjust traffic patterns to maintain a safe environment.
  • Communication — Coordinate with crews, supervisors, and the public to ensure smooth operations.
  • Daily Dispatch — Use a mobile app to receive assignments and travel to job sites within ~1 hour of the central shop.
  • Training — Complete a 3–4 hour traffic control training course before orientation.

Work Environment 🌦️
