Overview

Annseal is a leading pavement-maintenance contractor serving the Northeast. We’re looking for hard-working individuals who want to learn a skilled trade and grow with our team. All personal protective equipment (PPE) is supplied, and we reimburse for your OSHA 10-Hour Construction card and ATSSA Flagger certification on day one. No prior crack-sealing experience is required—just a strong work ethic and willingness to travel.

Location: Based at Annseal yard, Binghamton NY — projects across the Northeast USA

Status: Seasonal / Full-time | Non-exempt

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist crew with set-up and traffic control (signs, cones, flagging)
  • Load, operate, and clean crack-sealing kettles and application wands under supervision
  • Operate 400-gallon oil-jacketed kettles (Crafco, etc.)
  • Perform routing, crack cleaning, and compressed-air prep to ASTM/MDOT specs
  • Hand-route and blow debris from cracks using pneumatic tools
  • Lead small sub-crew, train new hires on safe torch and wand techniques
  • Perform daily equipment inspections, coordinate repairs with shop
  • Maintain job-site cleanliness and follow safety, DOT, and company policies
  • Complete daily paperwork (timecards, pre-trip inspections, document quantities and locations) accurately

Travel & Schedule

  • Company vans depart our Binghamton yard Sunday night or early Monday; return Friday night
  • Company-paid lodging (double occupancy) for the week and daily crew transport

Qualifications

  • 18 years+, high-school diploma or GED preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean record; CDL A/B a plus
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs and work outdoors in all weather
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
