Job description

We are seeking Registered Nurses with experience in pain management procedures to join the team at a busy Orthopedics and Spine Specialty Surgery Center. The center has 24 Pre-op and PACU bays, 3 Procedure rooms and 12 Operating Rooms. A Unique opportunity to be part of the inaugural team in this highly esteemed Ambulatory Surgery Center. The right candidate will have the opportunity to work with a dedicated and compassionate team, and will be expected to provide orthopedic patients with perioperative care, pain medicine and provide ambulatory surgery center services. The successful candidate for this position will also possess strong communication and interpersonal skills as well as experience in working with surgical teams. We are seeking people who are flexible and love working as a team. Strong IV skills are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate patients' progress and communicate treatment plans ASC team
  • Monitor vital signs, reactions, and responses to treatment.
  • Maintain equipment and work area
  • Prepare patients for their pain procedure, assist surgeon in procedure room, and recover/discharge patient
