Job Description

The Trading & Operations Analyst will play a critical role in bridging portfolio management, trade execution and business development for EFGAM's US Growth Equities team.

You will:

  • Execute trades across multiple platforms using our Order Management System (CRIMS - Charles River) and ensure Best Execution.
  • Support the onboarding and maintenance of Separately Managed Accounts and platform relationships (e.g. Envestnet and Pershing).

  • Drive process improvement and automation initiatives to support the scalable growth of the US Growth Equities platform.

The role is hands-on and suited to a high-energy, detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with data, improving processes and collaborating across functions. As the platform continues to expand, this position offers a clear path toward a more senior operational leadership role.

Tasks and Responsibilities

1. Trading & Portfolio Management

  • Manage trade execution across multiple products and platforms, ensuring accurate and timely implementation of portfolio decisions.
  • Handle complex trade tickets, including add/exits and multi-platform trading.

  • Perform daily cash management to keep portfolios within target ranges and investment guidelines.
  • Lead or support quarterly Best Execution reviews, ensuring rigorous adherence to internal standards and regulatory expectations.
  • Run statistical analyses and risk monitoring reports in support of the Portfolio Management team.

2. Platform Onboarding & Operations

  • Lead due diligence and onboarding of new trading platforms, in close coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain existing platforms through regular attestations, AUM reporting and marketing uploads/integration.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new onshore accounts, acting as a primary liaison between operations, portfolio management and distribution teams.
  • Maintain and evolve the Master Operations Manual, documenting procedures and controls as the team and platform scale.
  • Support Compliance and Risk Management activities, including the preparation of materials and control testing for the Investment Compliance & Risk Committee (ICRC), participation in quarterly Risk Taxonomy reviews and the Annual Compliance Review.

3. Sales Support, Reporting & Marketing

  • Provide high-touch support to sales and distribution teams by:
    • Running custom performance attribution and analytics.
    • Preparing prospect-specific presentations and materials.
    • Coordinating and managing responses to RFPs and bespoke client inquiries.
  • Own or support the production cycle for monthly/quarterly factsheets, commentaries and standard slide decks for Growth Equity strategies, ensuring all materials meet compliance requirements.
  • Support the quarterly billing cycle across platforms and product lines, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in coordination with relevant teams.

4. Automation, Innovation & Process Improvement

  • Identify bottlenecks and manual pain points across trading, reporting and operational workflows.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of automation initiatives, transitioning from manual reporting to scalable, streamlined processes.
  • Collaborate with technology, operations and other stakeholders to test, implement and refine process improvements that support growing demand for our US Growth Products.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a quantitative, trading or investment operations role, ideally within asset management, wealth management or a similar environment.

Technical and Product Skills

  • Direct experience with CRIMS (Charles River) or a similar Order Management System is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various trading platforms is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets and run performance attribution and other portfolio analytics.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with, or strong motivation to learn, automation and process-improvement tools.
