Summary
  • Product Manager for Fixed Income will serve as the primary subject matter expert for BlackRock Aladdin, owning the roadmap, functional design, and dayโ€‘toโ€‘day leadership of Aladdin capabilities supporting the firmโ€™s global fixed income platform.
  • This role sits at the intersection of investments and technology, partnering closely with portfolio managers, traders, risk teams, operations, and engineering to ensure Aladdin fully supports fixed income investment strategies and workflows.
  • You will bring deep fixed income expertise and strong product management skills to drive enhancements, optimize analytics and modeling, and ensure the front office gets maximum value from Aladdin.
Key Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
  • Own the product roadmap ensuring alignment with investment strategy and business priorities.
  • Evaluate new Aladdin features and industry trends to identify opportunities for workflow and analytics improvements.
  • Define and track KPIs that measure adoption, efficiency, and product success.
Fixed Income Subject Matter Expertise
  • Investmentโ€‘grade and highโ€‘yield corporates
  • Municipals, Sovereigns and supranationals
  • Structured products (MBS, ABS, CMBS)

Aladdin SME & Front Office Partnership
  • Serve as the goโ€‘to expert for all Aladdin functionality supporting fixed income workflows.
  • Partner directly with portfolio managers and traders to understand investment processes and translate them into system capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot realโ€‘time issues related to analytics, modeling, compliance, OMS workflows, and data quality.
  • Provide training, best practices, and documentation to frontโ€‘office users.
Crossโ€‘Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design and deliver enhancements, integrations, and workflow improvements.
  • Work with Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Data Management to ensure endโ€‘toโ€‘end alignment across the investment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with BlackRock Solutions on escalations, upgrades, and new feature adoption.
Execution & Delivery
  • Lead requirements gathering, user story creation, and prioritization for fixed incomeโ€“related enhancements.
  • Oversee testing strategy, including test case development, UAT coordination, and production validation.
  • Ensure smooth rollout of new features, workflows, and data integrations.
Qualifications | Required
  • 5โ€“10 years of experience in fixed income investment management, product management, or frontโ€‘office technology roles.
  • Handsโ€‘on experience with Aladdin, particularly in fixed income analytics, modeling, compliance, and OMS workflows.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income portfolio construction, risk management, and trading workflows.
  • Ability to translate investment concepts into technical requirements and product roadmaps.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across frontโ€‘office and technology teams.
  • Strong analytical and problemโ€‘solving skills.
Preferred
