Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Fixed Income Settlement professional to join our IMPACT L3 team. This critical role requires deep technical knowledge of Fixed Income Settlement platforms and the ability to maintain operational excellence in a complex, high-stakes environment.
  • Platform Support & Management: Provide expert-level support for the IMPACT Fixed Income Settlement platform, ensuring seamless daily operations and resolving complex technical and operational issues
  • Upgrade Management: Lead and execute IMPACT system upgrades, including planning, testing, implementation, and post-upgrade validation
  • Production Support: Manage and resolve production issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to settlement operations and maintaining SLA compliance
  • UAT Coordination: Oversee User Acceptance Testing cycles, coordinating with business users, managing test scenarios, and ensuring comprehensive validation of system changes
  • Stakeholder Management: Effectively manage expectations across multiple stakeholder groups, including trading desks, operations teams, technology partners, and senior management
  • Reporting & Analytics: Utilize Cognos platform for reporting, analytics, and operational dashboards to support business decision-making
  • Business Continuity: Serve as the primary subject matter expert for Fixed Income Settlement, maintaining critical operational knowledge within the organization

Skills, experience, qualifications and knowledge required:
Experience
  • 15-20 years of hands-on experience supporting Fixed Income Settlement platforms, with specific expertise in the IMPACT Settlement System
  • Proven track record of managing IMPACT system upgrades from planning through implementation
  • Demonstrated experience with Cognos platform for reporting and analytics
  • Strong background in UAT management and production support in a financial services environment

Technical Skills
  • Deep understanding of Fixed Income products including government bonds, corporate bonds, mortgage-backed securities, asset-backed securities, and derivatives
  • Expert knowledge of settlement workflows, reconciliation processes, and exception management
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex settlement issues and implementing solutions
  • Experience with system integration points between settlement platforms and upstream/downstream systems

  • Exceptional stakeholder management abilities with proven success managing expectations across business and technology teams
