Role Summary

Lead strategic initiatives that strengthen our wealth management capabilities across investment advice, financial planning, and retirement guidance. As a senior subject matter expert, you will partner across the firm to design scalable solutions, enhance client experiences, and drive innovation that improves outcomes for retail investors and retirement plan participants.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that expand and enhance wealth management offerings, including investment advice, financial planning, retirement income, and participant guidance.
  • Serve as a senior expert in financial planning and wealth management, helping shape new products, tools, methodologies, and client experiences.
  • Partner with teams across Investments, Product, Technology, Distribution, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, and Operations to deliver strategic solutions.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, client needs, and competitive developments to inform strategy.
  • Evaluate, prioritize, and implement enhancements to advisory, planning, retirement, and financial wellness capabilities.
  • Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, and implementation plans that improve the reach, scalability, and effectiveness of wealth management services.
  • Establish best practices and standards that promote quality, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Provide expertise on enterprise initiatives to solve complex business, operational, planning, and compliance challenges.
  • Influence leaders and stakeholders through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Mentor associates and provide leadership across key projects and initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bacheloras degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in financial planning, wealth management, investment advisory, retirement solutions, product development, strategy, or a related field.
  • Deep expertise in one or more financial planning disciplines, such as retirement, tax, estate, insurance, or investment management.
  • Proven success leading complex initiatives from strategy through execution.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence across teams and leadership levels.

Preferred:

  • CFPA, CFAA, CPA, ChFCA, or similar professional designation.
  • Experience developing or enhancing wealth management products, advisory programs, retirement income solutions, or financial planning platforms.
  • Experience supporting both retail investors and defined contribution retirement participants.
  • FINRA Series 7 and 65
  • FINRA 66 *The active holding of the 63 and 65 licenses is acceptable in lieu of the 66.A

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.

Base Salary Ranges

$107,000.00 - $194,000.00 for the location of: Maryland, Colorado, Washington and remote workers
$107,000.00 - $194,000.00 for the location of: Washington, D.C.
$107,000.00 - $194,000.00 for the location of: New York, California

Placement within the range provided above is based on the individualas relevant experience and skills for the role.A Base salary is only one component of our total compensation package.A Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined upon company and individual performance.A
