We're looking for someone to join our team as a Physician Internal Medicine—Faculty who:

The Board certified Internal Medicine Physician will provide comprehensive adult primary care in an ambulatory setting while serving as a clinical educator and preceptor for resident physicians. Delivers evidence-based, patient-centered care; supervises trainees in clinic. The MD/DO must demonstrate experience working in a diverse environment, be flexible, knowledgeable, and compassionate towards the care of our patients. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a warm, caring atmosphere where the health of our patients is of top priority.

Essential Functions:

  1. Adheres to the highest standards of medical ethics at all times.
  2. Required to be willing to supervise internal medicine interns and/or residents in outpatient
    clinic.
  3. Assures quality of care for all patients at all times and regularly participates in clinic Peer
    Review and Quality Assurance Programs.
  4. Maintains ABIM board certification
  5. Adheres to the regulations of ACGME when it comes to evaluation of residents and
  6. Adheres to and complies with Bureau of Primary Healthcare standards of clinical practice.
  7. May assist the Executive Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer in design,
    implementation, and evaluation of health care programs/protocols for patients and staff.

You will be successful with the following qualifications:

  1. Professional clinical experience in physician's specialty.
  2. Must possess:
    • California Physician’s License
    • DEA Certificate
    • AHA -BLS certification
    • ABIM Board Certification
  3. Authoritative knowledge of the principles, practice, and techniques in the physician's
    specialty.
  4. Interests in the research potential inherent in physician's specialty highly desirable
