Investment Data Analyst - Financial ServicesOverview

We are seeking a highly analytical Investment Data Analyst with strong financial services and capital markets experience to support investment operations, portfolio analytics, and data-driven decision-making across public markets portfolios.

This role sits at the intersection of investment management, finance, and data analytics, working closely with portfolio managers, operations teams, and technology partners to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and usability of investment data.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and validate investment data across equities, fixed income, derivatives, and institutional portfolios

  • Support portfolio analytics, performance reporting, and attribution analysis

  • Develop dashboards and reports to provide insights into portfolio exposures, risk, and returns

  • Partner with investment operations to reconcile positions, transactions, and valuations

  • Ensure data accuracy across investment systems and reporting platforms

  • Collaborate with finance teams on NAV, cash flows, and accounting data alignment

  • Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance data governance and reporting automation

  • Support system enhancements, data mapping, and integration initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • 3-7+ years of experience in financial services, asset management, or investment operations

  • Strong understanding of public markets (equities, fixed income, derivatives)

  • Experience working with investment data, portfolio systems, or financial reporting

  • Advanced Excel skills; proficiency in SQL preferred

  • Experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)

  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, pricing, and valuation concepts

Preferred Qualifications
