Operation Specialists Job Description and Responsibilities May Include:

• Processing – Responsible for processing receipt transactions that are Not in Good Order, processing journal request, and monitoring/handling the disbursement work queues to process various disbursement requests.

• Divorce and Death Claim processing

• Tax operations processing.

• Processing ACAT, Non ACAT and/or Mutual Fund account transfers

• Report Review- Reviewing reports that reconcile general ledgers and end of day balances

• Supporting investment transaction accounting, position reconciliation for the purpose of accurate reporting

• Daily processing of compensation sharing arrangements (or setups) for New Advisors and ongoing maintenance for current LPL Advisors

• Expected to perform a set amount of tasks daily using several applications, following set procedures and guidelines

• Additional tasks to match changing business needs

Qualifications:

• An understanding of direct processing is preferred but not required

• Very strong proficiency skills in Excel

• Strong written & verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels

• Attention to detail, ability to analyze information and strong reporting skills

• Must work well under stress in order to meet strict set deadlines

• Must be organized and can work on multiple projects at a time

• Knowledgeable of a wide range of financial investment vehicles including but not limited to Mutual Funds, Fixed Income Products, Options, Common Stocks and Variable Annuities preferred

• Familiarity with Documentum, BETA, Visio, Adobe, Siebel preferred
