Job Description 

A stockroom intern supports inventory management by organizing shelves and tracking stock. The role bridges classroom knowledge with practical supply chain experience, focusing on accuracy, data entry, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment to ensure production teams have the materials they need.. 

Role Responsibilities 
  • Inventory Control: Conduct periodic cycle counts and verify physical stock against digital records. 

  • Order Fulfillment: Retrieve parts or merchandise from the stockroom to fulfill requests from production teams. 

  • Database Management: Utilize inventory software or ERP systems to log and update inventory changes. 

  • Maintenance: Ensure the stockroom complies with safety standards, keeping aisles clear and storage areas well-organized 

Qualifications 
  • Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a high school or college program (often focusing on Supply Chain, Business, or Logistics). 

  • Computer Skills: Familiarity with basic IT tools, data entry, and inventory/ERP systems. 

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, or walk for extended periods and frequently lift or move up to 50 lbs. 

  • Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication.
