Controller – Financial Systems & Operations

A well-established global consumer products company is hiring a Controller – Financial Systems & Operations to play a key leadership role during an exciting period of transformation and growth.
This is not a traditional Controller position. You'll help shape the future of the finance organization following a recent ERP implementation, drive process improvements, enhance reporting capabilities, and partner with executive leadership on key business initiatives.
Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes
Oversee financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
Manage fixed assets, inventory accounting, treasury, cash flow forecasting, and audit coordination
Improve financial systems, controls, and reporting processes
Partner with leadership to identify profitability improvements, cost savings, and operational efficiencies
Develop and mentor accounting team members while helping build the future structure of the department
What We're Looking For
Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience
Background in manufacturing, distribution, or consumer products environments
Experience with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
Strong financial reporting, treasury, inventory, and process improvement expertise
Proven ability to lead teams and influence business decisions beyond the accounting function

• 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance leadership roles.
• Demonstrated expertise in month-end and year-end close management within a complex business environment.
• Strong background in financial reporting, consolidations, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience overseeing fixed assets, inventory accounting, treasury activity, and cash flow forecasting.
• Prior success driving process improvement and strengthening financial controls and reporting practices.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, or a similarly operational industry setting.
• Proven ability to lead teams, collaborate cross-functionally, and influence business decisions beyond accounting.
• Familiarity with enterprise finance systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is preferred.
