Position Overview

As a Valuation Associate, youโ€™ll play a vital role in delivering high-quality valuations and advisory services to our clients. You'll be working closely with our talented team in Dallas to deliver insightful financial analysis and support critical decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and explain historical and projected financial data.
  • Review financial information related to assets, net worth, liabilities, capital stock, surplus, income, and expenditures.
  • Conduct research on guideline companies and other relevant market data.
  • Identify technical issues and perform research to document and conclude findings; seek guidance when needed.
  • Collaborate with the team during project planning and resolution of client issues during engagements.
  • Input income statements and balance sheets into valuation models.
  • Participate in the preparation of reports, proposals, and executive-level presentations.
  • Maintain clear communication with management regarding project status and completion.
  • Implement feedback to reduce errors and enhance future performance.
  • Engage actively in ongoing training and development opportunities.
  • Utilize technology and software applications effectively for analysis and reporting.
Qualifications
  • 1 to 2 years of Valuation experience
  • Understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and financial statements is necessary.
  • Experience complete engagements for financial reporting purposes: ASC 805 โ€“ Business Combinations, ASC 350 โ€“ Intangibles โ€“ Goodwill and Other; ASC 718 โ€“ Expense Accounting for Stock Options
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High commitment to delivering excellence in client service and professional standards.
