Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to oversee U.S. corporate tax compliance while supporting tax strategy for complex energy and infrastructure projects.


Must be a US citizen


What You'll Do

  • Lead federal, state, and local tax compliance
  • Manage quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provisions
  • Oversee SALT, property tax, depreciation, and fixed-asset tax matters
  • Support acquisitions, international tax, and tax planning
  • Identify tax efficiency opportunities for major capital projects
  • Advise on tax and IFRS implications of assets, leases, and transactions
  • Support infrastructure partnerships, waterfalls, flips, and special allocations
  • Support equity and debt investor tax diligence
  • Coordinate U.S. partnership modeling and cross-border tax structures
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, Operations, Accounting, and global teams
  • Work with external tax advisors and auditors


What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 5–15 years of U.S. corporate tax experience
  • 4+ years of in-house tax experience
  • Tax Manager experience in acquisitions, international tax, and strategy
  • Strong ASC 740, SALT, and fixed-asset tax experience
  • Partnership tax experience, including waterfalls, flips, or special allocations
  • Experience with energy, infrastructure, construction, or manufacturing
  • Experience with projects or companies exceeding $100M in annual revenue


Preferred

  • CPA or MST
  • IFRS experience
  • Big Four experience
  • Government contracting or regulated-industry experience
