Position Summary:

The Staff Accountant is responsible for supporting the finance and accounting department by performing day-to-day accounting tasks. This role involves maintaining financial records, preparing journal entries, reconciling bank statements, assisting in month-end and year-end closings, and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards. The Staff Accountant works closely with other accounting staff and departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and contributes to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the organization's financial operations.

Core Responsibilities:

General Ledger Maintenance

  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.

Month-End and Year-End Closings

  • Assist in closing procedures by preparing schedules and reports.
  • Ensure all financial data is accurate and complete for reporting period

Account Reconciliations

  • Reconcile bank statements and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies.

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports.
  • Support internal and external audit processes.

Fixed Assets Management

  • Corporate Approval Administration
  • CIP Analysis / Investment Cash Flow Reporting
