Purpose

The position is responsible for the management of the Powerplan application and its users ensuring the system operates efficiently and effectively. The incumbent will leverage strong troubleshooting skills to support end users of varying levels of technical knowledge. The incumbent must have the ability to thrive in team-orientated environments and ensure a high degree of accountability, visibility, and understanding as it relates to systems and accounting, reporting and operational performance of the organization. The position requires strong communication skills and will interact with key members of Property Accounting and Leadership. This position will report to the Director, Fixed Asset Lifecycle.

Accountabilities
  • Ensure the seamless operation of the PowerPlan application while optimizing the system's functionality to enhance efficiency in fixed asset lifecycle 
  • Continuously monitor system performance to identify and mitigate potential issues, ensuring uninterrupted service and minimizing operational risks.
  • Supporting in optimizing the compatibility between SAP S4/Hana and PowerPlan
  • Lead the troubleshooting, analysis, and root cause identification of incidents, implementing solutions to improve system reliability and proactively enhance operational performance.
  • Responding to alerts and taking appropriate action
  • Performing system maintenance by reviewing error logs
  • Maintains various test and training system environments, including refreshes
  • System outage coordination
  • Coordinate system security reviews
  • Demonstrates Company values through decisions and actions
  • Promotes the Company's safety culture to ensure a safe work environment
  • Develop and deliver targeted training programs, empowering users with the knowledge and skills to maximize the effective use of the PowerPlan application.
  • Maintain comprehensive, user-centric documentation, manuals, and instructional materials to ensure ongoing accessibility and clarity, facilitating a self-sufficient user experience and fostering continuous learning.
  • Lead the analysis of system data and performance metrics to derive actionable insights, informing strategic decisions and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Identify performance gaps and system deficiencies, spearheading the development and implementation of targeted solutions that drive continuous improvement and align with organizational objectives.
  • Facilitate Month End Coordination and perform PowerPlan Application Closing tasks
Education and Experience
  • University - Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • 4-5 years PowerPlan Cloud application experience is a must
  • SAP S4 Hana PPM, PS and/or CO experience is desired
  • Fixed Assets and Depreciation Accounting concepts
  • Regulated Utility Accounting concepts: FERC, NARUC
  • Effective writing and communication skills

Compensation Data

Full salary range for New York and California $88,094 - $146,051 per year*Liberty considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education, training and skills, and geographic location.
