Five Rivers Analytics is looking for a Ground Support Equipment Mechanic to work in Fort Hood, TX. Come join this dynamic team and be part of this critical mission! Apply today!
Responsibilities
  • This position is responsible for all repairs, preventative maintenance to include initial and final inspections, IAW AR 750-1, on tactical GSE equipment consisting of power generation, external fuel delivery systems, refrigerated systems, vans and/or trailers and towing equipment.
  • The Ground Support Equipment Mechanic diagnoses malfunctions and repairs Ground Support Equipment (GSE), advises and trains lower grade workers on diagnosis and repair of less complex repair/maintenance problems, inspects and approves completed maintenance actions, solves repair problems by studying drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics, and technical publications; uses automated maintenance data systems to monitor maintenance trends, analyze equipment requirements, maintain equipment records, and document maintenance actions, and analyzes, diagnosis, and repairs GSE using conventional and digital multi-meters, voltmeters, ohmmeters, frequency counters, oscilloscopes, circuit card testers, transistor testers, and hand tools.
  • This mechanic prepares GSE for storage and mobility deployment; and operates, cleans, inspects, and services GSE towing vehicles. In addition to maintaining vehicle records, this mechanic maintains, and updates paper and electronic equipment records, provides dispatch service for GSE, including good housekeeping, tool control, Foreign Object Damage prevention, and safety at all times.

Qualifications
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Extremely knowledgeable in U.S. Army maintenance procedures and AR 750-1.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background screening.
  • 10+ years of experience maintaining GSE.
  • Refrigerant Recycling and Recovery Certification.
  • Ability to receive a favorable TIER-1 investigation result.
  • Ability to bring and use your own tools.

Desired Qualifications:
  • U.S. Army 91 series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent.
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or B) with "X" Endorsement.
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • High School / GED
  • ASE Certification.

Pay & Benefits:
  • Hourly Compensation: $34.54.
  • Hourly Health & Welfare: $5.09.

Physical Demands:
  • Physical requirements include (but are not limited to) the ability to lift 50 pounds, pushing, pulling, carrying, stooping, bending, squatting, and reaching.
  • This position involves working both indoors and outdoors. Work environment includes periodic overtime, exposure to heat, dust, cold, and inclement weather conditions.
