JOB TITLE: Occasional Office Help

REPORTS TO: Accounting Manager/Accounting and Administrative Specialist

FLSA STATUS: Part -Time Hourly, Ag Exempt

FUNCTION: Operates the Main Truck Scale; Prepares and Distributes Associated and Various Other Reports.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Other duties may be assigned.

Weighs all truck loads entering and exiting the feedlot.

Verifies scale ticket information and corrects if needed

Completes and distributes various generated reports.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basic knowledge of Word Processing software; Spreadsheet software and Accounting software

Ability to operate and troubleshoot problems with office equipment including computers, telephone systems, fax machines, printers and copiers

Ability to work with and apply mathematical concepts such as percentages, rations and proportions to practical situations

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence

Ability to multi-task

COMPETENCY: Expected to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness understand business implications of decisions and conserve organizational resources.
