Job description

Position Description Facilitates the coordination and promulgation of online information, digital (e-marketing), and dissemination of information on other virtual platforms. Duties/Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform essential duties to expected performance standards. Manages digital projects, including agency website, digital advertising, and email campaigns that connect the public to FRMP and to philanthropic and volunteer opportunities as appropriate. Analyzes and coordinates digital campaigns and projects, web-based projects, and web design projects and tracks changes. Troubleshoots and communicates issues with internal clients and consultants.

Produces web content, branding and other materials for agency website, as well as for internal audiences. Solicits and creates new photos, videos and news stories to feature on the site from internal and external sources. Works collaboratively to manage and direct ongoing content management initiatives.

Ensures quality, reports progress, and manages communication directly with internal clients. Reports to and communicates with agency leadership regarding digital marketing performance. Manages search engine optimization, search engine marketing, web analytics, and e-marketing.

Receives and analyzes new campaigns and prioritizes work within monthly maintenance budget. Educates staff, partners and public on the website's capabilities, usefulness and performance in support of MetroParks' mission and goals. Aids in the development of the agency's content management system (CMS).

Keeps abreast of website and digital marketing communications trends to ensure MetroParks remains a digital industry leader. Trains agency employees in use of CMS. Maintains and updates content for the FRMP mobile app, in coordination with the Director of Operational Improvements.

Maintains confidentiality of confidential or sensitive records and information. Works assigned schedule, exhibits regular and punctual attendance and works outside of normal schedule as required. Supports marketing and public engagement specialist, creative services specialist, marketing manager, and director of marketing and public engagement as needed.

Provides service to the public, responding to questions, offering assistance, and providing information. Collaborates internally, within and across departmental boundaries, to provide information and service to others in the organization to contribute to the effective operation of the agency and all staff. Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. A combination of appropriate education, training, course work and experience may qualify an applicant to demonstrate required knowledge, skills, and abilities. An example of an acceptable qualification is: Bachelor's degree in information technology with emphasis in Web Development and Design, Computer Science, Graphic Design, Communications, Marketing, English, Writing, or Journalism.

Five years of related experience managing web content as either a project manager or producer. Valid Drivers' License which meets Five Rivers MetroParks' insurance carrier guidelines Additional Information Candidates must successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screening test prior to employment.
