Description

Part-Time Collaborating Physician - Fitzgerald, GA Region

MainStreet Family Care is growing and we're looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Part-Time Collaborating Physician to join our team! We currently have 60+ clinics across Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina, and we are still growing!

This position varies in days and hours. This is not a full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • In-clinic shifts will be spent working with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
  • Conduct monthly quality reviews of patient charts based on State Regulations and/or procedures
  • Ability to evaluate, assess, provide proper documentation, and give appropriate intervention
  • Be available to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants via phone or email
  • Proven ability to supervise multiple Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
  • Execute collaborative agreement with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants and renew as required by State Law
  • Provide feedback as needed to Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants for performance, including areas with opportunity for improvement
  • Perform any other duties or services required by law or company policy
  • Ability to conduct a site visit with respective Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants

Qualifications:

  • Current and active MD or DO license, multiple state licenses a plus
  • Strong clinical background
  • Active DEA License
  • Flexible, patient-centric, self-motivated, energetic, vigilant, professional
  • Passion for providing excellent patient care while emphasizing wellness and prevention
  • Deep desire to make an impact on patients' lives and get back to quality patient care
  • Expertise in treating both acute and chronic conditions
  • Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine preferred
  • Valid and unrestricted state license
  • Comfortable with technology
