In this role, you'll lead energizing group classes while also providing personalized support through 1-on-1 and small group training sessions. Responsibilities
  • Lead Meaningful Group Fitness Experiences: Bring energy, encouragement, and purpose to every class you lead. Facilitate engaging on-site fitness sessions designed specifically for older adults, focusing on functional movement, balance, strength, and mobility while creating an atmosphere that is uplifting, welcoming, and fun.
    Provide Personalized Coaching & Support: Deliver 1-on-1 and small group training sessions tailored to each participant's goals, abilities, and comfort level. Help residents progress at their own pace while celebrating milestones and building confidence along the way.
    Champion Safety, Comfort & Inclusivity: Create an environment where every participant feels supported and capable. Carefully monitor exercises, offer modifications when needed, and ensure each individual can participate safely and successfully.
    Build Genuine Relationships: Connect with residents on a personal level and bring compassion, patience, and positivity to every interaction. Foster trust with residents, staff, and community leaders while creating a space where participants feel encouraged, valued, and excited to return.
    Deliver Excellence Through Our Program Standards: Follow Live 2 B Healthy's proven training protocols and curriculum to ensure every class and session delivers the highest quality experience for participants.
    Communicate & Celebrate Progress: Track attendance and participant feedback, share meaningful updates with the Fitness Program Manager, and communicate any program needs or scheduling concerns. Help ensure every participant's progress and experience are supported.

Qualifications
  • Experience in senior fitness, personal training, group fitness, or rehab-based exercise
  • Current nationally recognized fitness certification (NASM, ACE, ACSM, AFAA, or equivalent)
  • Current CPR/AED certification (required)
  • Warm, positive, and supportive approach with the ability to build trust and motivate participants of all ability levels
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to travel to assigned communities with reliable transportation

Preferred:
  • Previous experience with private clients or small group training
  • Background in working with seniors or within senior living communities
  • Understanding of age-related conditions and how to safely modify exercises

Compensation:
  • Hourly pay based on experience and certifications
