Job description

A healthcare facility in Madison, WI is seeking experienced inpatient pharmacists for a 13-week contract opportunity starting on June 8th. This role offers a mix of day and evening shifts with a rotating schedule, providing a dynamic work environment for those skilled in inpatient pharmacy services.
Schedule/Hours:

  • Mix of day shifts (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening shifts (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.)
  • Five 8-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating every 3rd weekend
Location:
  • Madison, WI
Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient setting
  • Utilize expertise in pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
  • Monitor therapeutic medications and manage drug shortages
  • Deliver pharmacotherapy management for various medical conditions
  • Utilize EMR system EPIC for documentation and medication management
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
  • Minimum two years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
  • Skilled in acute care pharmacy practices
  • Licensed to practice in Wisconsin (ACT-10 license accepted)
  • Must be able to shave facial hair for mask fit testing; personal PAPRs and CAPRs are not permitted, and facility does not provide them
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system preferred
Additional Information:
  • Scrubs will be provided upon start
  • Compliance with fit testing requirements is mandatory for employment
