Position Overview:
As a Burn Boot Camp Trainer, you’ll be at the forefront of helping our members achieve their health and fitness goals. Through dynamic, high-energy workouts, you will guide clients of all fitness levels and backgrounds, pushing them to exceed their limits while building their confidence. You’ll be part of a passionate team that’s dedicated to making fitness an empowering experience for everyone.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Camps- Deliver 45-minute pre-designed workouts to members of all ages and fitness levels while leading and motivating them with high energy.
  • Personal Training in a Group Setting – Ability to engage multiple members in workouts while also offering personal 1-on-1 experiences.
  • Excellent Member Experience – Provide value to our members by providing genuine interaction, empathetic engagement, and consistent devotion to their goals.
  • Teamwork – Work with Training Team, Childwatch Team, and Burn Ambassadors to collectively deliver a memorable experience every camp.
  • Facility Management – Return equipment and organize gym at the end of morning/evening camps to keep the gym orderly. Promptly report facility needs to the Head Trainer.
  • Safety – Ensure safety of participants regarding exercise technique and modify specific exercises to accommodate various skill levels.
  • Engagement – Be highly engaging with the community in the gym as well as on social media.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM, ISSA, ACE, ACSM, NSCA) OR a 4-year Exercise Science degree with continuous experience.
  • CPR/AED certified.
  • At least 1+ year of experience in personal training or coaching.
  • Availability:
    • 4-hour shifts
    • Some weekends
  • Complete the 15-min Strength and Conditioning test, with the goal of passing it. If test is not passed, the expectation is to continuously work towards improving and passing the SAC
  • Have a high level of understanding and presence in social media
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized while effectively communicating in a positive, motivating manner.
  • Ability and willingness to motivate and command the room, creating excellent experiences for our members and potential members.
  • Desire and capacity to train all fitness levels with knowledge of physiology, exercise technique, and body mechanics.
  • Has pride in results, with a focus to achieve growth both personally and professionally.
  • Coachable and open to learning and growing with the Burn Boot Camp brand.
  • Committed to professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity at all times.
